The founders of Specialty Health Partners (Jim Chamberlin, CEO, Ben Martin, COO and Director of Business Development, and James Edmiston, M.D. Medical Director) have over 75 years of successful experience in the healthcare, insurance and consultant related ventures.
They have served as owners as well as in executive management positions and have been responsible for day- to-day operations including budgets and new business expansion for some of the leading companies in the U. S.
Their management and entrepreneurial skills were always focused on new and better ways to do things that created savings and profits for their company. When they were introduced to Mike Sammons and his company The Quest Group and the patented software RxQuest they knew this was a revolutionary program which was going to totally change the way pharmaceutical benefits procurement had been done for the past 30 yrs.
Our multifaceted program combines a powerful patent pending software engine (RxQuest) with a rigorous and highly competitive procurement program. Together we have challenged the decades old methodology of discounts when analyzing pharmacy benefits procurement. Discounts have always been ambiguous at best. Without all of the data, including actual cost, hidden rebates and other manipulations, discounts mean nothing. We have taken the unproven and provider-friendly methodology of discounting and brought it into the information age.
SHP is a 6 yr old Georgia based LLC and we have the opportunity to evaluate many different products and programs, but we have never been more excited than now about our agreement to be The Service Bureau for The Quest Group organization. We will provide these duties under the name "Quest Services".
